Crossing the Touchline - Audiobook

I loved this book it was heartbreaking but with an exceptional epilogue!!!
Everybody loves Cam and Ruby and ofcourse Gary Furlong♥️

I loved this!
I absolutely adored both MCs: Cam, the out and proud and loud gay man, and reubens, the deep in the closet, potential All-Blacks rugby player.
I suffered with Cam and Reubens in their struggles to be together with everything (sport, family, obligations and also self-esteem) fighting against them.
Jay Hogan has earned a sure spot in my one-click-authors folder!

I love Gary Furlong’s audio performances and he’s doing a great job with this series. I understand that book three, Up Close and Personal, is available now at some audiobook retailers and I’m looking forward to listening to it.

Jay Hogan continues to slay my heart with her writing but she’s also very good at mending it. 😊. Rueben is a rugby player hoping to get called up to the All Blacks; he is deep in the closet. Cam is an out and proud charge nurse in the ER at Auckland Med and the older brother of one of Ruben’s teammates.

After a brief encounter the two meet up again about a year later. Cam doesn’t do relationships with closeted guys because he was burned before. But there is something about Rueben he just can’t resist. Reuben really wants Cam but he doesn’t see how he can come out as long as he’s playing rugby. Add in the family drama that Reuben faces almost daily and it all makes for a very difficult relationship.

I could go into a lot of detail about this story but I’m going to take the lazy way out and just say how much I loved this book. Book five, You Are Cordially Invited, coming June 17, is about Rueben and Cam’s wedding. I can’t wait to read it but I’m going to read the other books in the series first.

Oh my God! This series just keeps getting better and better! I knew Cam was amazing since book 1, but I’m so in love with him right now. He’s kind and beautiful and perfect for Reuben, they are just what the other needs. The plot was amazing, you get frustrated right along with them by their reality, and the secondary characters really brought life to this.
We get to see more of our favorite sexy doctor, and your hearts will melt with a sweet little boy.
I couldn’t get enough of this one, I could have read all night about these wonderful men!

Additionally, be prepared for FIRE, because when Cam and Rube get together, it’s explosive!

Reuben's story will break your heart, but is pretty fantastic and despite it all, shows Reuben how to live his true life.

Probably the angstiest of this series, but also the most epic.
